The Jar That Did Absolutely Nothing

It says it’s working on “compound sitting.” We have questions.

A sleeping jar on a cushion with two floating Z letters

“What do you do all day?”

“Sit here,” said the jar.

“And at night?”

“Compound sitting.”

Nice try, jar.

Compound growth means earlier earnings stay with the money and can earn more. A glass jar does not pay earnings.

Some examples use the same rate every year to show the math. Real rates can change, and investments can lose money.

The jar is now holding pencils.
